Is it really free?

Yes. The Free plan has no monthly fee and no time limit. You get a full business page, online bookings, 5 services, 10 products and an offer. If you sell through the shop we take a 8% commission on those sales only.

Who can list?

Any genuine business, sole trader, club or charity based within 150 km of Stanley, County Durham. That covers County Durham, Tyne and Wear, Northumberland, Teesside and large parts of Cumbria and North Yorkshire.

Do I need a website?

No, that’s the point. Your Stanley Business page does what most small business websites do, and on Pro or Premium you can point your own domain (like yourbusiness.co.uk) at it.

How do customers pay?

Shop orders are paid by card through Stripe. You connect your own Stripe account in a few minutes and payouts go straight to your bank, minus our commission. Bookings don’t take payment online; customers pay you as normal.

Can I cancel a paid plan?

Any time, from your dashboard. You keep your paid features until the end of the month you’ve paid for, then drop back to Free. Nothing is deleted.

How long does it take to set up?

About five minutes for the basics: name, category, postcode, contact details and opening hours. Add services, photos and products whenever you like.
