Stanley Business

About us

Made in Stanley, for everywhere local

Stanley Business started with a simple idea: the best businesses in our towns shouldn’t need an expensive website to be found, booked and paid.

Our story

A high street that never closes

Stanley sits high on the hills of north-west County Durham, a former mining town with a big heart and a lot of talent: trades people, hairdressers, cafés, mechanics, makers, cleaners, coaches and carers. Too many of them rely on word of mouth, a Facebook page, or a website that costs more each year than it earns.

We built Stanley Business so any local business can have a proper online home in minutes: a page with opening hours, a map, reviews and photos; online bookings; a shop with click & collect or delivery; offers; and quote requests from customers nearby. Businesses on Pro and Premium can even point their own web address at their page, so they get a professional website without building one.

For customers it means one place to find what’s near you, see who’s open now, book in a few taps, and support the businesses that keep our towns alive.
